Psychiatry Clinical Rotation Information for PMHNP and PA Mental Health Students:

Clinical Rotation Options:

We offer in-person, telepsych, and hybrid options to cater to individual preferences.

Availability Requests:

When indicating your availability, include essential details such as school name, required hours, and prospective start and end dates.

Technology Integration:

We leverage advanced communication technology for clinical discussions and a secure virtual platform for patient intakes, prioritizing privacy and consent adherence.

Our students engage in projects designed to deepen your clinical understanding, fostering confidence in your practice.

Mandatory Clinical Requirements:

For every clinical session (in-person or telepsych), ensure you have:

• Provider lab coat
• Prescriber’s guide by Stahl (Physical copy only)
• DSM-5 diagnostics manual (Physical copy only)
• Laptop/computer with reliable internet
• Book tabs and highlighters for discussions

Failure to comply will result in the cancellation of your rotation for the day.
